The Garden Chick Web site is owned by Karen Creel. A nurse by profession for over 20 years, gardening has been an interest of mine for many years. Like many women who work outside the home and have children, our interests are often "put on hold." This Web site and developing my home herb and vegetable gardens have now begun to be realized.

As a novice gardener with a lot to learn, I hope to use this site to provide education for both those beginning to garden and those who are looking for new information and products. I encourage you to send me your ideas and experiences to share on the site.
